Toward the end of my early morning woodland walk there is a steep climb to a spot overlooking the wending weaving ribbon of water that bisects the woods. It is a perfect spot to take in the glory of the dawn’s chorus.

Reflections from a soggy Wednesday morning
Although the rain has stopped it is still too wet and cool to spend much time outside. I breakfast in the conservatory; light some incense, take some tea and eat overnight oats.
